WHAT IS IT?
RECWEEK is InterVarsity's year-end camp in Waxahachie, Texas. It's the perfect change to unplug after a busy semester and reconnect with Jesus. You'll experience best Bible study ever, amazing worship, and tons of fun with InterVarsity college students across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana! THEME: RADICAL FAITH This year we're diving in to Matthew chapter 8 to see what happens when ordinary people embrace radical faith in Jesus. Whatever your major, year in school, ethnicity, or even faith background, join us in discovering what it looks like to put faith in action and pursue Jesus with our whole lives! |

COMMUNITYMake new friends or reconnect with old ones on other campuses. We'll have our annual "All Camp Fun" relay race and plenty of opportunities to meet others and hang out!

DISCIPLESHIPYou'll grow in your understanding of who Jesus is, what living a life for Christ looks like, learn how to share the Gospel with others, engage in various styles of prayer, and so much more!

CHOOSE YOUR TRACK
During RECWEEK you'll choose a focus track to go deeper! You'll spend a lot of time in your track throughout the week so read through the options below and see which one is the best fit for you. MARK 1 Are you wondering who Jesus really is? What his ministry was about? Why he did what he did? Whether you're looking to learn about God, just accepted Christ into your life recently, or are a "long-time" believer: join us in doing a deep dive into the first half of the Gospel of Mark. MARK 2 A continuation of experiencing Jesus in the book of Mark. Journey through the concluding eight chapters of Mark's gospel and follow Jesus to his death and resurrection. KINGDOM LIFE What is the Kingdom of God and how can we possibly live our lives as God's "heirs"? What exactly IS a Kingdom Disciple? Join us as we address these questions and more. PRAYER As we read through the Gospels, we see Jesus do many things: travel, teach, heal, etc. He stands before the crowds and preaches. But he also secludes himself in a remote place and prays. Join us in discovering the power of prayer while learning new ways to engage with God. |
WORSHIP LEADER
IMER SANTIAGO
Imer serves local and global church communities as a multiethnic worship leader, honoring a variety of cultures and languages in every arrangement. Imer combines his training in improvisation, jazz, and swing with his knowledge of North and South American music to create new interpretations of well-known worship songs. Imer works with churches, worship teams, and Christian organizations to facilitate inclusive worship gatherings that encourage Christ followers of every background to unite in praise. He has also spent several years leading worship for InterVarsity's Urbana Conference, the largest missions conference in North America.
SPEAKERS
JOE HOJoe Ho, InterVarsity's Vice President of Focused Ministries, was born into an immigrant family in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was raised in the Cincinnati Chinese Church. There he became a Reds fan, a Bengals fan, and a Christian, not necessarily in that order.

CHRISTINA FOORChristina Foor is the Director of Engagement & Mobilization at CCDA. She is an Indian-American wife and mother of 2 daughters. She is passionate about empowering others to reach their full potential, and has experience doing this in many contexts.

CHELIR MULE-KIVINDYOChelir Mule is the Associate Director of Student Development of Black Campus Ministry for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Chelir worked as an Engineer before joining InterVarsity staff and she now lives in Houston with her husband and two awesome kids!

JOSH HOWELLJosh serves as the Red River Regional Director overseeing all of InterVarsity's work in the Region. Josh has served with InterVarsity for over 24 years. Leadership, faith, and prayer have been common themes throughout his ministry experience.
