Conferences

IVCF Red River Region has two major annual conferences. The first is Breakthrough, which usually takes place over a weekend in February. The other is Rec Week which is a week long event following Spring finals. Once every three years, InterVarsity hosts a student missions convention known as Urbana. Look forward to hearing news about Urbana 09!

Rec Week is around the corner!

Take a few minutes to peruse the tracks, check out the speakers, and register early for the discounted price! Rec Week is a great opportunity to learn more about God's Word, receive leadership training, and fellowship without the pressures of schoolwork!

Breakthrough - "A planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor."

Breakthrough 08 has passed, and we are excited to share that the Lord moved mightily in a meager two days of retreat. Andrea Thomas, Regional Director of InterVarsity for the Red River Region, has written a praise report to celebrate what the Lord has done.

Urbana Missions conference

The Urbana Student Mission Convention, or "Urbana" for short, occurs once every three years. In the past, Urbana was held on the University of Illinois campus in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. In 2006, the Urbana Student Mission Convention grew too large for the University of Illinois campus, and moved to St. Louis, Missouri. For more information about the decision to move locations, read this Urbana press release.
