Breakthrough Registration Information
Registration
Before registering please read this entire page for guidelines.
Online
- Go to the online registration form.
- Fill out all the fields.
- Sign and fill out the entire release form and list your last four digits of your social as verification. *** very important*** If you are under 18 years old, print the release form, sign it, have your parents sign it, and give it to your staff worker.
- Pay $30 deposit through PayPal. The remainder of you registration fee should be paid upon arrival to Breakthrough on Feb. 15.
Offline
- Print out the registration form or ask your staff worker for one.
- Fill out the form and send it with your check to InterVarsity Gulf Coast Office, Attn: Breakthrough Registrar, 3315 Bissonnet, Houston, TX 77005
- You also need a release form signed and sent in.

Payment Methods
Debit/Credit Card Payments
PayPal is a secure way of paying the $30 deposit for Breakthrough 2008 online. Please note that you can only pay the $30 deposit online. You will need to bring the remaining balance with you to the camp. The balance will need to be paid with cash or a check. We will not be able to take a credit card at the camp.
If you currently have a PayPal account, make sure it is verified so that you can use that account to send money.
If you don't already have a PayPal account, PayPal has a feature that allows you to pay without signing up for an account. Click the PayPal button during the registration process and it should walk you through easily.
Keep your account safe:
- Never share your PayPal password. If you think someone has it, contact PayPal immediately.
- Create a secure password. Avoid obvious dates and nicknames. Combine letters and numbers. Keep it unique.
- PayPal will never address you as "PayPal member" or "PayPal user". Do not open emails or click on links in emails that address you this way.
- Don't share personal account information in email.
- Don't download attachments that appear to come from PayPal.
- Don't share your account. Please do not register and pay for your friends through your PayPal account. We highly recommend not sharing accounts.

- Print out the registration form and enclose it with the check, if possible.
- A minimum deposit check of $30 must be postmarked by the deadlines listed to secure the pricing requested. Official postmarks on envelopes will be used to determine total cost.
Cash Payments
- Please do not send cash in the mail for your safety.
- Give cash to your staff worker in a sealed envelope with your full name and school on it. If you are paying for another person please indicate that as well.
- Print out the registration form and enclose it with the cash, if possible.
